Driveway companies in West Sussex

Before you hire a driveway company in West Sussex

• Front garden over 5 square metres? A new hard surface must be permeable (resin bound, permeable blocks or gravel) or drain to a lawn or border, otherwise you need planning permission.
• A dropped kerb needs Oxfordshire County Council approval before any work starts on the pavement.
• Block paving driveways in this area typically come in around £3,800 for an average drive, or roughly £100 per square metre. Get two or three written quotes.
• Ask what goes underneath: depth of sub-base and type of membrane matter more than the surface you see.
